Using the Totally Katika website

These Terms of Use apply to the Totally Katika LLC website, including its articles, resources, consultation links, and client information pages. Please use the website respectfully and lawfully. If you have a question about these terms, email hello@totallykatika.com.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the website and connected services.

What coaching provides

Totally Katika offers life coaching and educational resources that support reflection, goal-setting, confidence, boundaries, and intentional action. You remain responsible for your choices and the steps you take. Your experience and results depend on your circumstances, participation, and other factors; a particular personal, financial, or professional outcome is not guaranteed.

Coaching and website content are not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, or financial advice, and do not replace qualified professional care. Contact an appropriate licensed professional when you need that support. This website and its forms are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Consultations and enrollment

A free consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals and whether coaching is a good fit. Booking a consultation, emailing Katika, or submitting intake does not by itself create a paid coaching relationship or reserve paid sessions.

Before paid coaching begins, you and Katika confirm your selected services, fees, session arrangements, communication boundaries, and coaching agreement. Your individual coaching agreement governs those service-specific matters and takes priority over these website terms if there is a conflict about your coaching services.

Payments, scheduling, and refunds

Fees, payment timing, package details, cancellation or rescheduling arrangements, missed-session terms, and any refund conditions are set out in the coaching agreement and payment instructions provided for your selected service. Review those terms before agreeing to a plan or making a payment, and ask Katika about anything that is unclear.

Stripe is the payment provider for the payment link Katika shares with you. Use the link and instructions that correspond to your agreed service. Do not send payment-card information by email or through an intake or check-in form. A payment receipt does not, by itself, confirm a session time; arrange your appointments with Katika.

Nothing in these website terms removes any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your information and participation

Provide accurate contact and scheduling details, share only information you are comfortable providing, and let Katika know if something changes that affects your sessions or access to materials. Reflection and faith preferences are personal choices; do not include another person’s private information without their permission.

Keep private materials, resource links, and account credentials secure. The Client Login page provides guidance and links; it is not a separate Totally Katika sign-in account. Access to a privately shared document follows the permissions and sign-in requirements of the service hosting it.

Articles, worksheets, and other materials

The website’s original text, branding, and coaching materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may read public content and use materials shared with you for your own personal learning. Please request permission before republishing, selling, distributing, or adapting them for commercial use, except where applicable law allows otherwise.

Sharing a link to a public article is welcome. A private client document or worksheet should not be posted publicly or shared as a public download. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Respectful and lawful use

Do not use the website to impersonate someone, submit harmful or unlawful content, send unsolicited promotions, interfere with the site, bypass access restrictions, or attempt to obtain another person’s private information. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its visitors, or client information.

External services and communities

Scheduling, forms, documents, payments, and social links may connect you with services operated by Google, Stripe, Microsoft, or other providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Availability, sign-in requirements, and features may change.

Optional community participation is separate from one-on-one coaching. Posts or comments in a social group may be visible to other participants under that platform’s settings and group rules. Do not treat a community space as a confidential coaching session.

Website availability and limitations

We work to keep the website useful and accurate, but content may change, contain an error, or become unavailable. The website and its educational materials are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every resource will suit your individual circumstances.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on general website information, interruptions, or third-party services outside our control. This provision does not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded and does not replace the terms of your individual coaching agreement.

Changes and questions

We may revise these website terms as the website or services change. The date above identifies the latest version. Changes to these terms do not automatically amend a signed coaching agreement or remove rights you already have under applicable law.
